just built this PC online to check and the cheapest option for new was £722.83.Unless stated specifically, the items are in VG/nearly new condition, with no marks, and light use. It is a bargain at half the price but I will leave that up to you to decide. DESCRIPTION: Great 8-Core CPU PC Rig, with dedicated graphics card (2gb), 16gb RAM, with 750w power supply, a fast SSD as a boot drive with full Windows 10 pre-installed. Comes from a smoke-free home and has very light usage . Perfect as home hub, workstation, video editing, gaming, design, pretty much anything you need to throw at it. Dominates @ 1080p and the 6 core CPU is really punchy. You can see it fully working when you collect it (or I deliver it locally ). SPECIFICS: CASE - PHANTEKS ETHO PRO- . Really good case with very good airflow - fitted with CORSAIR LED 140mm fan in rear and 140mm on front. quiet, windowed and plenty of space to upgrade. MOTHERBOARD - Gigabyte 970A-DS3 - A really solid motherboard with a functional bios and great performance. CPU - AMD FX- 8320- 8 Core CPU (3.5/4.0 Ghz) - Outstanding bang per buck / Great potential for overclocking / Excellent multi threaded performance, quite stunning in some applications (esp video work). RAM - 16gb 1600Mhz - Fantastic RAM with a very low latency. Great for everything from gaming to video editing. Graphics Card (GPU) - MSI RADEON oc 270X- 2gb dedicated GPU to crunch through pretty much any game at Very High settings at 1080p . A great cash/performance ratio though and easily matching anything a console can push out. CPU COOLER - Xigmatek Dark Knight - Very imposing large CPU radiator that provides some seriously clever cooling with the minimal amount of fan noise. Power Supply Unit (PSU) - Corsair CX 550 - VGC power supply from a great brand ensuring there is enough power for the components. (on warranty) 1TB HDD - Western Digital Hard drive - for all your data, pictures and content. SSD - 240 GB CRUCIAL SSD - I have installed the Operating System (below) onto this SSD so that Windows boots from this faster drive. If you are coming from using a massive old HDD then you really won't know yourself when the speed increase hits you. Installed one of my Windows 7 Ultimate licenses on here and updated to Windows 10 - the performance benefits of current and upcoming updates to Windows 10 are showing really favourable speed/efficiency gains with this CPU and graphics card, so I would recommend you use this. However, if you want to use your own copy of windows 7/8 etc then you can obviously install that. Otherwise its ready to fire up and start using after a fresh install so £40 more saved.
